Basically, the word “tote” means to carry and hence tote handbags would mean the bags that are made to carry something. The raw material used in its manufacturing mostly includes heavy canvas that might possibly be died. Its main aim is to resist the moisture from entering the bag as well as the mold. Nylon is another component used in making these bags but the drawback of using nylon is that when it is exposed to sun for too long, it may degrade and spoil the quality. Recently, some of these bags are also made from the recycled material which includes the less processed fibers or the byproducts of certain processes which are used to refine the organic matters. Due to the latest studies, the material used varies significantly while in the older days, there were very limited components used for its making.

Importance

People used to carry purses and huge heavy bags in order to get some stuff from the market or to carry other stuff while they were going somewhere. But the introduction recently of these tote handbags have made lives pretty easier. Firstly they are very light weight which relieves the hassle of carrying the traditional heavy bags and secondly, these bags are large enough or carry more space than the older purses to carry some smaller stuff. Women mostly prefer to carry them as they feel more comfortable with its handling as well as its strength gives them the security that it won’t tear off and the stuff won’t go wasted.
